We celebrated the release of Emma Stone’s Cruella with a Bad Girl Summer social presence, eventizing the theatrical premiere and paying homage to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer.”


The campaign’s visual language took shape with rips, gritty textures, and paint marks to express Cruella’s “brilliant, bad, and a little bit mad” POV.

How it Started


Playing off of the trending TikTok format, we intercut Cruella’s mischievous childhood with her fearless and daring present self.

Bad Girl Summer

A bold, talent-forward TikTok laid the groundwork for the campaign and showcased Cruella’s “baddest” moments.

Footage Cuts

Utilizing native TikTok text features but with an artful Cruella twist, we strategically cut and captioned the most salient moments from the feature. These clips were seeded out across the Cruella social handles.
